Wonderful time despite the squabbles between the repair men!
The house was really nice! location was great..Our family (including 12 grandchildren were able to stay comfortably and really enjoyed the beach..we had an issue with AC which was resolved.. also an issue with the ice maker.. the repair men kept trash talking about each other, and the ice maker was never fixed... We found a way to get around that and totally enjoyed the time... we would so come back to this home,,,, and hope we didn't have to call a repair man!

We love Topsail
This was our second year in this unit and we enjoyed ourselves. A couple of issues, though: the icemaker broke down and it took 2 days to get someone out to look at it. One of those days was July 4th, so it's somewhat understandable, but still...Also, the community pool leaves a lot to be desired. No furniture, looks run down, etc. Put some money into it! Thirdly, repeat renters should have an option to reserve the same location for the same week for next year (we've had that in the Outer Banks). I tried to reserve the same property for next year as soon as we returned home, but it was already taken. Repeat customers should have priority.

Great week at the Beavh
This property is perfect for a family at the beach. The house has a fully stocked kitchen with ice maker and the elevator is the best. We had prompt service with a plumbing problem that was fixed the same day. we will be back

Nice house, Horrible Customer Service
We searched for months for the perfect house to have our small private wedding, and booked it a year in advance, had all our money paid way ahead of the due date, and 3 days before we're supposed to check in, the real estate company calls us and tells us that house is no longer available, and try to put us in a much less than equally nice house. We understood that things happen, but we weren't happy with that compensation for the huge inconvenience this caused. They didn't return our calls & made us feel like we were inconveniencing them for not taking their alternative option. My husband & I looked on their website, and of course due to the time constraints, there were only about 5 houses on the entire island that were still available, and 2 of them were much too small for our family. We asked them to move us up into another house, that we we felt was more comparable to the original, and after 2 days of not hearing anything back, we finally got it. The house was amazing, however, the cleanliness was quite poor- showers had hair and dirt in them, lots of dust around, and no instructions on how to operate the equipment, elevator, hot tubs, etc. Luckily, I have a handy husband, but I felt, again, this was just poor management on the rental/ realty facility's behalf. Fortunately, the I do believe the owners of the home did a wonderful job building & decorating the home to make it feel warm & inviting, with so many great amenities (if you can figure out how to use them :)

After traveling seven hours, no one wants to walk into a roach infested place. It was clear that the house has not been properly cleaned before we arrived. There were dead roaches and bugs laying on the floors when we entered. After numerous calls, the cleaning service finally sent one person to clean the house, which was impossible for a house this size. During our stay, we constantly was killing roaches. The roaches were crawling over our children while they were sleeping and just sitting in the family room's chairs or sofa. We had to conseal everything in the kitchen so that roaches could not get into the food. This was the worst Christmas and vacation in my life.
